Whether you are planning to upgrade your RAM, checking if a new game can run, or just curious about what’s inside your computer, knowing your hardware specs is essential. Here are the three fastest ways to find out exactly what’s under the hood of your Windows PC.
1. The Quickest Way (About Settings)
Go to Settings > System > About.
Under Device specifications, you can see your Processor (CPU) and installed RAM.
Under Windows specifications, you can see your exact version of Windows.
2. The Best Way for Graphics (Task Manager)
Right-click the Taskbar and select Task Manager.
Click the Performance tab on the left.
Here you can see real-time data for your:
CPU (Model and Speed)
Memory (RAM speed and slots used)
GPU (Your Graphics Card model)
Disk (Whether you have an SSD or HDD)
3. The Pro Way (System Information)
Press the Windows Key, type "msinfo32", and hit Enter.
This opens a detailed window with every single detail about your BIOS, Motherboard, and hardware components.
TileTechZone Tip: If you want an even more detailed report with temperatures and fan speeds, we recommend downloading a free tool called Speccy or HWMonitor.
