What is Sora Live?
Sora Live is a low-latency version of OpenAI's video model designed specifically for live broadcasting and video communication. It allows users to prompt a 3D environment that wraps around them in real-time, matching the lighting on the user’s face to the digital world behind them.
Key Features that Change Everything
Dynamic Relighting: If your AI background has a red neon sign, Sora Live will realistically cast red light onto your skin and hair in the video feed.
Environmental Interaction: Users can "interact" with the digital background. Move your hand, and the AI-generated shadows or particles react accordingly.
Low Latency Processing: Using a new "Stream-Diffusion" architecture, OpenAI has minimized the lag to less than 50ms, making it viable for professional live streaming.
